National Faith Homebuyers’ founder finds fellowship in Florida
National Faith Homebuyers’ Founder and CEO Dina Harris attended the National Black & Latino Economic Summit in Clearwater, Fla., in early August, where the message centered on how organizations can help families and entrepreneurs build lasting financial stability.
Hosted by the National Minority Community Reinvestment Co-operative, where Harris is Treasurer, the 2026 summit, themed “Capital in Motion,” brought together local and national business and community leaders to share practical ways to expand access to capital and create stronger pathways to economic opportunity, entrepreneurship, homeownership and wealth-building through relationships with mentors, housing advocates, community organizations and financial institutions.
At the summit, Harris represented National Faith Homebuyers’ community-based work to make homeownership more attainable for Detroit-area, Atlanta and Tampa residents. Her participation underscored the key role of down payment assistance, homeownership education and trusted local guidance in helping families buy a home.
